Eking out a living as a seamstress, her life was once again thrown into turmoil when she and her brother were mistakenly taken by the press gang of HMS Indestructible, an event that would lead her to a future she had never dared dream of.
(Captain Pelgrave:) “Your name or so help me I’ll have it flogged out of you!”
The boy looked shocked and spoke angrily. “Flog? Flog? What kind of pirate ship is this?”
“PIRATE SHIP!” Captain Pelgrave exploded, causing more than one hand to wince but the boy stood his ground.
“Yes! First your men attack my brother and I whilst going about our lawful business, then you rob us and now you threaten flogging. What better description of a pirate ship could there be!”
By now the Captain was not only angry but exasperated as well. “YOUR NAME!”
“My name, Sir, is Greene. Miss. Charlotte. Elizabeth. Greene and I demand you ……”
The voice trailed off as a slackened sail, caught by the wind, cracked. Charlotte looked up and her grey-green complexion turned alabaster white.
"Oh my God," she whispered "you've sailed," and promptly swooned.

Returns and exchange details
We will accept returns if notified to us by email within 7 days after receipt and returned to us in good order. If cancelled by the buyer, we will refund the cost of the item in full but not postage paid. If returned to us as faulty, we will either replace or refund in full (including postage paid and the cost of return), whichever the customer wishes..
